Smells GREAT but the taste is just gross

I am a big fan of brisket. I love barbecue brisket from the local barbecue spot and I also grill my own brisket. The smell of this brisket cooking in the over was wonderful, I couldn't wait to eat it. Then when I took it out I placed it on a bun as usual and was ready to dig in... YUCK all the way around! The taste, the texture, no one in my home ate it. The other pack I bought since I told you I love brisket is still in the freezer. Usually when we purchase from Market Day it is hard to keep the items around the house for long.

This beef has a good flavor, but be sure not to over heat. It will become very tough if overheated. It is sliced thickly. The sauce has a little tang to it. Tasty.

I agree with some of the reviews that the meat is sliced thicker than the photo and it is in a BBQ sauce, but I got 6 large Kaiser bun size sandwiches out of it. It is melt in your mouth tender, but you absolutely must follow directions, heating thawed meat in the oven, not microwave as some may be tempted to do. My husband loves this!
