These steaks seem to be great quality and texture. We haven't found steak that tastes this good that isn't super expensive at our grocery store. Will continue to buy. Kids enjoy too!
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture
These steaks are so good, my kids won't eat any other ones. They are individually packaged so there is no worry about thawing too much or too little. The steaks are not fatty and they are juicy. Phenomenal!

A Little fatty
Date:May 9, 2012
Pros: Flavorful
Cons: Poor Texture
Wasn't crazy with the quality of steaks this time. I have bought several types of steaks and other meats from Market Day in the past and LOVE the quality. Was more than a little dissapointed in these though.

Pros: Flavorful
Cons: Poor Texture, fatty
We used to LOVE Market Day's Ranch Steaks, but the last couple of times we have gotten them they have been fatty and not the quality we are used to from Market Day. We have stopped getting them. :( We continue to buy other items though.
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, Good Texture, Versatile
These were good steaks, but my family prefers the fillet of sirloins instead. These had a decent texture and the flavor was good, but not as tender as the sirloin. None that we had were fatty. My son will definitely eat 2(and sometimes3). Not bad for the cost.
Usually pretty tasty and a nice portion size for those watching their weight. However, it it sometimes very fatty. I usually purchase the filet of sirloin because the quality is more consistent (less fatty) although I can only eat 1/2 of the sirloin because of its size and it costs more.

TASTY AND TENDER
Date:May 23, 2011
Pros: Easy Prep, Good Texture
THIS STEAK IS VERY TASTY AND TENDER. HOWEVER THE PORTION IS DEFINITELY NOT FOR AN ADULT. MY FIANCE ACTUALLY NEEDED (4) FOR HIMSELF, BUT MY DAUGHTER AND I WERE CONTENT WITH THE PORTION. EASY PREPARATION, VERY TENDER AND TASTY COOKS WELL.
The Ranch Steaks are a regular item I buy for making fajitas and stir-fries. I thaw the quantity I need in cold water for about half hour so they're easier to slice. (The individually vacuum packed steaks thaw easily either in fridge over night or in cold water.) I marinade them in olive oil and lime juice with seasonings, add sliced peppers and onion, and then fry them up in the pan or Foreman grill (which is easier). I can do the same with Beef & Broccoli and just follow a good recipe using the ranch steaks. It ends up being a great deal and a tasty meal!
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, High Quality, Good Texture
These were good for a change of pace. The first time I made them I used a dry rub seasoning and cooked them on my indoor grill on the oven - they turned out ok - they took longer to cook than expected, but they were thick, but they also turned out a little dry. The second time I cooked them, I marinated them the night before and grilled them and they turned out much better.

Love this
Date:December 23, 2010
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
I absolutely love these steaks. I grill them with a little seasoning on them and they are perfect. Although they might look small, they do not shrink and are just the right size to got be over stuffed with a meal.

don't let the size fool ya
Date:October 28, 2010
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, very lean
I first tried these ranch steaks when I purchased the mixed grill. At first view, the size of these steaks was disapointing because I figured they would shrink up to nothing when fully cooked. To my surprise, they came off the grill medium well and were the the same size as when I put them on the grill raw. They are the perfect portion size, very lean and not to mention very tasty. Needless to say, I'm now hooked and would highly recommend these steaks.. I'm definatley coming back to purchase more :o)
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture
These steaks were really good out on the grill. I got a sample of them in the mixed grill package to try them out, they're the first Marketday steak we've tried, but i was very happy with the result!

Flavorful and tender grilled
Date:October 8, 2010
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Good Texture, Versatile
These steaks are a bargain steak dinner for a family. They are just the perfect size for teens and adults, and tender enough that the kids can cut them themselves! Don't overcook and you will be happy with the result on your grill.
According to the advertisement I thought these would be good alone just cooked on the grill or broiled....I was way wrong. Not good at all for grilling, absolutely flavorless. I used the rest for beef barley soup and they were good that way. Kind of an expensive piece of meat to use that way, though!

Not Good
Date:September 2, 2010
Pros: Easy Prep
Cons: Poor Texture, Bland, Excess Fat
I tried these and they were horrible. Not much flavor and very very very fatty. Also, the bacon just made it worse as it was hard to cook the bacon when it was wrapped around the beef.

Perfect steak for seasoning!
Date:August 30, 2010
Pros: Healthy, Good Texture, workable, good value, keep on hand
Tried these steaks as part of the mixed grill package. I used a rub (from market day: Chicago Steak house? Also a really good product--it's the brown sugar that does it!) Grilled them while still slightly frozen (just a bit hard in the center, which is my trick for all grilling of frozen meats) came out perfect, AND was delicious sliced cold over a salad as leftovers.....I will admit the product look, when removed from packaging, was not that appealing so I wasn't optimistic making the end result a really great surprise!

Love these steaks! They are always ready in short order. Easy to prepare & change with dry rubs, italian dressings, teryiaki sauces, bbq sauces, etc. Great on the grill or in the kitchen! And they're lean, so no extra fat!
