Excellent Quick Meal

Date:December 7, 2010
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep
Tried this for the first time and it was excellent! I defrosted it in the microwave and then heated it on the stove. Very quick and tasty!

Wish it came in four containers

Date:April 24, 2012
Pros: Easy Prep, Versatile
We really like this product, but one container is too much for us and we can't refreeze. I'm usually lucky enough to send some home with my son. Four smaller containers would be great. Taste is great and preparation is quick.

GROSS

Date:March 11, 2012
Pros: Easy Prep
Cons: Poor Texture, Poor Flavor
We usually love what we buy but this time the product was just gross. All of us had an upset stomach after we at it. I prepared it just the way it said to but it had a weird pork/synthetic taste to it.

easy - feeds large group

Date:February 21, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Good Texture
Cons: Excess Fat
I bought this items for my bunco club, which is anywhere from 8 - 10 girls, and then there was even some leftover. Easy to prepare and everyone loved it. The flavor is very good. The only reason why I didn't rate 5 is because there was some fatty pieces and a lot of liquid once dethawed, which I drained. But that is probably from being frozen and I don't think it affected the flavor or texture at all.

Fast, delicious BBQ!

Date:February 8, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
This BBQ is so much better than the tubs you can buy at the grocery stores! Perfectly seasoned and no gristle or fat, just nice pieces of shredded pork. Good for sandwiches, BBQ pizzas and BBQ spaghetti, even by itself!

Tasty easy dinner

Date:January 8, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Good Texture
This makes a very tasty quick dinner. I think it takes a bit more time to thaw in the fridge than suggested though. There are 3 of my family that like this, so one tub is enough for a dinner or lunch easily. That makes it a pretty good bargain since we get 2 meals out of it.

Quick Family Meal

Date:January 3, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly
My Husband and 2 sons loved the pulled pork. It was so easy to prepare. The packaging says to thaw in fridge but I am usually a last minute meal planner so I defrosted in the microwave and cooked for 10 minutes after defrosting. It was very tasty. We will be getting this again.

Yummy - but a tick spicy

Date:November 8, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
Wonderful - unless anyone in your family cannot handle spicy. They have an afterkick almost like a cayenne of some kind. My kids loved it, but they all like spicy food. I heated the leftovers and put them in their thermos for school with 2 slices of thick white bread and they made their own hot BBQ pork sandwichs for lunch that day. They gave it RAVE reviews. Good quantity for the money. Will definitely order this again.

Classic flavor

Date:October 18, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep
Cons: a bit too spicy for kids?
This has the classic BBQ flavor, tomatoey (but not too much) a little sweet, a little spicy, with hints of vinegar and mustard. But be aware of two things; it does have a little kick, so younger kids may not like it (one of ours did, one didn't); and it has a "raw" appearance, rather like finely ground beef.
Minus one star for the heat that made one kid refuse it, and a little more sauciness would have been nice. But all in all, a winner!

Great taste, easy prep

Date:October 10, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly
We loved the flavor of this BBQ pork and the ease of fixing it on a weeknight for dinner. We served it on buns with mashed potatoes and green beans for the sides. That way we could scoop up with the potatoes any of the pork that fell out of the bun!
When I first opened the container it didn't look very appealing t the eye, but boy did it taste good! One conainer was the right portion size for our family of two adults and three small kids.

Thanks for Helping My Son Eat Meat w/out Ketchup

Date:September 15, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality, Good Texture
My son LOVED the bbq pork served with cornbread! He is very picky when it comes to eating meat, unless it is drowned in ketchup. Much to my surprise, he ate all of the pork placed on his plate and even complimented me on making such a "yummy supper". I asked him if I should make the bbq pork again some other night and I received a resounding YES! Thanks for helping my son eat his supper...quite an achievement for this mom of a preschooler! Plus I thought it tasted great too. ;)

Yumminess in a tub!!

Date:August 16, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Good Texture
Cons: titch spicy for kids
We tried a sample of this at a meet your teacher night and it was super delish!!! We had to get it on the next order!! I would have never guessed it was MD AND it is better than most I have had at restaurants!! A bit spicy for the kids so will tone down with some steamed broc and a baked potato or broiled rosemary red taters!!

Tangy and delicious.

Date:March 12, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, High Quality
One of my children has a gluten intolerance. Finding a barbeque sauce that does not have wheat in it is hard enough, much less a fully cooked pork barbeque dinner that he can eat with us! This meal tastes great, and all I have to do is thaw and heat it!! Wonderful!
