Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, Good Texture, Versatile
I am a picky fish eater. Unless it is fresh, I won't eat it. I tried these fillets and was greatly surprised. They store well, defrost fast, cook up nice each and every time. Most importantly, they are DELICIOUS. Very mild and will handle any flavorings you cook with them and no fishy odor in any way. Enjoy! My kids love them too.
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
I am not a fish person but I love tilapia. I love tilapia because it is a mild fish and will take on the flavor of the seasonings you use when cooking it.
What I liked most about the tilapia from Market Day is that they were individually wrapped. I could take out what I wanted and save the rest for later.
These had a great taste, but I used seasonings - olive oil, garlic, fresh squeezed lemon. I defrosted them first in order to have them cook quicker and then broiled in my oven. These were not rubbery or fishy tasting. If you have not tried fish before, I would recommend tilapia - toss them in a parmesean and bread crumb coating and then broil. Eat alone or as a sandwich, with some side dishes of course. I can't wait to make parmesean crusted tilipia, yummie!
I will order these again. But because they are pricey, I will not order them frequently.

Very Strong Fishy Taste
Date:February 21, 2012
Pros: Easy Prep
Cons: Poor Flavor
Not sure if it was the piece of fish I had or if all the fish taste the same, but the tilappia that I ate had a ery strong fishy flavor. It tasted like I was eating the water the fish swam in. I hope other had a better experience.

love this ... I just take it out of freezer in a.m., put it in top of refrigerator, and after work, pan fry it with a little cooking spray. YUM! CAn't eat just one, but two only have 200 calories.
The first ones I tried had a strong fish taste....didn;t think Tilapia was suppose to be fishy tasting. Made the last 3 filets tongiht and again - fishy. Will not buy again. Maybe it was just the batch I got.....the haddock was wonderful.

These are awesome!
Date:June 24, 2011
Pros: Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture
Ok so I was pretty skeptical of frozen fish but once I tried these, I was hooked. Previously I would only buy the freshest fish I could find and would eat it that day. I still do this but time to time I get a fishy rubbery fish. The marketday tilapia is not fishy tasting, or smelly. It is also flakey and not rubbery. We put an order in about every 4-6 weeks and order 1-2 boxes of this. It is so healthy and easy to prepare. We probably have it at least 3X-5X a month. Fish comes individually wrapped and we usually remove a few from the freezer a few hours prior to cooking and rub some seasoning on it and grill. I have also pan seared it with lemon. Yummy! the kids like it too!

Cons: Poor Texture, Bland
Two out of the 5 filets I prepared were rubbery ... it was very strange. The other three filets turned out nicely.
Marketday's Tilapia. A Great Tasting,Healthy Meal!
Date:March 16, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
I Purchased This Tilapia For My Family. We're All Trying To Eat Better,But Not Sacrifice Taste. That's Exactaly How I Would Describe Maketday's Tilapia. I Pan Fried It In A Little Olive Oil And Seasoned With Marketday's, " A Salt For All Seasonings". This Was My First Time At Attempting To Cook This Type Of Fish. I Added Marketday's Broccoli,Seasoned With," St. Louis Better Than Caesar", It Turned Out Great,And I Had A Healthy Meal For My Family In 10 Minutes! I Also Love That They Come Individually Wrapped. So You Can Cook One At A Time Or As Many As You'd Like. A+ Marketday!
We ordered this in January due to the rave reviews. Both my husband and I plus my 6-yr old daughter thought this product was very fishy. Very disappointed since the fish cooked beautifully and the texture was great. For the price, I would have expected a better quality product.

Healthy and great meal for individuals or families
Date:November 3, 2010
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
We love to have fish in our weekly menu plan, and these fit in perfectly. The individual wrapper is helpful when we need just a few for dinner.
I love this fillets... I am not a big fish eater so all we do is season them up, a little olive oil and throw under the broiler. Along with a veggie and a Market Day double baked potato - easy and delish.
The fish itself is firm and delicate all at the same time.
