Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
Delicious, easy, & HEALTHY! Great w/steamed veggies. Meets or beats criteria for Weight Watchers, Low-Carb, South Beach diets. My family's favorite MarketDay item!
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
We tried this for the first time tonight and LOVED it! Perfectly (lightly) seasoned, so flavorful and SUPER easy to make - just throw pouches in boiling water and cook for 12 minutes. Love that each serving is only 1 g fat and 120 calories! We paired it with the 9 Grain Orzo Blend and it was the perfect meal. We will definitely be ordering this again!
Pros: Easy Prep, High Quality, Good Texture, quick
Wow! This salmon is so good that it is hard to believe that it has only one gram of fat. And that it only takes a minute in the microwave. I will usually choose this for dinner when I'm short on time. I've purchased the Seasoned Salmon for years and we love that too. It's perfectly seasoned. I hope that Market Day offers both of these for a long time! We have either one of these salmons once a week.
We buy this every single time we have an order. They are so quick and easy to eat. Everyone in my family loves them. My 2 and 5 year old eat all the salmon that I put on their plates.

Delicious pre-cooked salmon
Date:March 2, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture
We used to order these from Schwans before they discontinued them. An online search for them found Market Day. This is the very best pre-cooked salmon you can find. Seasoned just right. Our favorite and we order 2 boxes each month. Our young granddaughter loves them too. Great served with sides or on a salad. This was our candlelight Valentine's dinner - yummy!

mystery meat...
Date:March 1, 2012
Cons: Poor Texture, Bland, Poor Flavor
We love market day food, but this salmon was horrible. I don't even think it was salmon. my husband thought it was chicken. I will never order this again.
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, Good Texture, Versatile
Cons: it's salmon.
The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that I don't like salmon. These however I can eat and kind of enjoy. My son and husband who like salmon said they were very good.
They are very easy to prepare as you are just heating them because they come fully cooked. They are healthy and they are moist.
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture
I am usually the only one in my house who eats Salmon. But this product got my 5 year old and 10 year old to eat it. My 8 year old still won't touch the stuff. It is very flavorful, no fishy taste and the texture is perfect. It is so easy to prepare and sadly they were gone in days. I am ordering the other type of salmon from market day this time. hopefully it will be as good as this one!

Just Okay
Date:November 22, 2011
Pros: Easy Prep, Healthy, Versatile
Cons: Bland
I thought that these would have been better after reading the reviews. I baked them and served them with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Fresh salmon is MUCH better. These would be good on a salad.

Too fishy. Directions for micowave are poor
Date:November 6, 2011
Pros: Easy Prep, Healthy
Cons: Bland, Poor Flavor, poor instructions for microwave
Directions for cooking frozen filets in microwave is wide time range (2 to 5 minutes) and not specific for diffrent wattage ovens. I cooked for right in middle of range and it was very overcooked and chewy. Second time i followed the boil in bag instructions and those instructions were good and texture was right. However the taste was fishy and seasoning was just so so. I like salmon, but these just werent good.
This salmon was so easy to prepare and yummy! I chose to use the microwave from frozen instructions and it turned out very good. Usually we purchase fresh, wild salmon and season it and poach it. And while it is excellent this way, it is also a pain to go buy the fish the day of (from our reputable source) and then cut it into portion sizes, etc. This market day salmon is a great and FAST alternative! I served it with pasta aglio y olio (or whatever that dish is called) and steamed broccoli. Even my one non-fish eater ate the salmon, and though not happy, he didn't gag either which is a plus! I will buy this again to keep on hand to have a quick and nutritious meal. The single-serve frozen portions also make it nice for a quick and healthy lunch for me.
These are, admittedly, a little bland straight from the box. Try the Brown Sugar Glazed recipe (on the left hand side of the page when you are looking at the full description of the item). It nicely mimics the teriyaki salmon at our local Japanese restaurant at a much cheaper price and more reasonable portion. With the slightly sweet teriyaki flavor, the kids are much happier to eat their "brain food"!
The filets were fine with some additional herbs or sauces added, but my kids weren't that crazy about these. I did break up the left-over filets and made some good salmon spread, though.
I like to add a twist of lemon to cover the blandness. The fact that this is such a convenient and healthy fare for lunch justifies the added cost for such a small portion. When compared to fast food options, at least this is better for your body and brain.

Endless possibilities
Date:May 12, 2011
Pros: Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Versatile
Hadn't had these in a while and fixed them for dinner last night. I actually baked them and had over a ceasar salad. My daughter loved it. She squeezed a little lemon over the top. I am putting these on my shopping list again and plan to have them for lunch with some veggies. Very Points Plus friendly for those on Weight Watchers.

Extremely Bland
Date:March 24, 2011
Cons: Poor Texture, Bland
I did not like this at all. It is extremly bland for my taste. I will try to season it next time, but it's supposed to be ready to eat.
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture
OK... My first 5+++ rating ever. These individually packed seasoned salmon packets are only 100 calories with 1 g of fat. BUT...they come with a sauces that tastes like butter. They are fantastic. I've been boiling them on the stove top at the same time I'm making pasta. I saw that someone else microwaved them, I have not done that yet. Get them today!
