I've purchased these crab cakes numerous times, and I use them to make the crab stuffed mushroom recipe that I got from the Market Day site. Everyone LOVES them, and they have become my "signature" appetizer to bring to every party. Thanks, Market Day!
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
I absolutly LOVE these I must keep these on hand always. They cook up perfectly in minutes. I usually make some sort of dipping sauce and YUMMY!!!!!!! I only bake them. I do coat them with a little garlic EVO, then bake when I turn them I do use a spatlula to press down a bit that way they really crisp up. I have them in the freezer always.

kids loved them, but I thouht a little small
Date:March 13, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly
Cons: pricey for value
My kids loved these (6 yrs and 9 yrs), and my 6 yr old doesn't like much seafood. My husband I thought they were good too.
Very easy to prepare - I baked them.
I gave them only 3 stars due to size vs. value, I thought they were a little pricey for the size and amount. I would buy them again, but not as often as if they dropped the price a little or increased the amount.
I tried making Crab Cakes from scratch with Mom's recipe. It was a colossal failure! I never thought I'd find a packaged item with the same flavor as Mom's. Even baked in the oven they still turn out crispy on the outside.
I am not big on seafood, but my husband loves these. Easy to pop in the oven when you don't have time to make a big dinner. I just drizzle is with melted butter when they are out of the oven.
This current batch of crabcakes Market Day is offering is awful. They are not meaty and are very flimsy. I have purchased crabcakes prior to them changing vendors on this brand and they were good. I would not waste my money on these.

OK
Date:February 2, 2012
Pros: Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy
These are OK. I'd like to see more noticeable lumps of crabmeat for my taste, but my preschooler likes them as-is. I keep them in the house for a lighter meal or hearty snack.
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, High Quality, Good Texture
Cons: too small
These crab cakes are the bomb! If I had to say anything negative about them, it would be that they aren't big enough for me. The quality is superb especially considering the low price. To really bring out the flavor, I prepare mine with fresh lemon juice. Lemon juice is used to bring out the flavor of any seafood.
First, I coat them lightly in melted butter then bake until golden crispy perfection. While they are baking, I prepare my dipping sauce with the remaining melted butter and the fresh juice from a couple of lemon wedges. I use about one whole lemon in total per 4 crab cakes.
Once I remove them from the oven, I immediately squeeze the juice from a couple more lemon wedges directly onto to the crab cakes, transport them onto a dish, and place a tiny sauce container filled with the dipping sauce and garnish with the last remaining lemon wedge.
These were not exciting. The texture was mushy.... there were no identifiable lumps of crab meat. I won't get these again.

Yum!
Date:September 21, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Good Texture
Great crab cakes! I love that these come out perfect and crispy on the outside when done in the oven. I bake for 20 minutes then do the broiler on low for 3.
Each cake is pretty small and at 7 grams of carbs per cake that's really pushing it. Great taste though :) I make mine at home with crushed pork rinds rather than bread crumbs.
these were not as good as i expected from reading reviews. the texture was too mushy, teh crab was stringy instaed of lumpy i even tried to cook longer and it didnt help. they had a very funny flavor also. i would not reccomend these.
