Delicious for any Night

Date:January 16, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality
Cons: price
This roast is sooo tasty and tender. I would say this is high-end restaurant quality meat. You can buy a roast at the store and cook it and end up with shoe-string leather. You can't ruin this roast if you cook it according to the directions. My family was surprised at how flavorful this was. That is also a perk with this roast, it's already marinated!! Great to keep one on hand for that night when you want something different or if you have company coming over.

A Splurge!

Date:July 15, 2010
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
And well worth it for a special occasion or just because! I was afraid of overcooking it and drying it out, but this is close to fool-proof.

Had to toss it out

Date:March 15, 2012
Cons: poor quality
We were please with the first several times we ordered this roast. However, our last one was a great disappointment. It was the first Market Day purchase we did not eat. We have been customers for years. Skip this and order the pot roast.

Family Favorite

Date:January 26, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
We just had this last night and everyone loved it. I forgot to take it out to thaw. So, I microwaved it for a couple of minutes so I could get the wrapper off. Then, I put it in the crock pot just as it was, put it on high, and 5 hours later we had an incredible roast. Not one morsel was left over! Will buy this monthly.

Great Roast!

Date:January 22, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, High Quality, Good Texture
This was one of the items I kept meaning to cook, waiting for a night where we all sat down together to eat...it was worth the wait!!! The roast was delish! Tender and just enough marinade to taste it without overkill. Fool proof, if you follow instructions. I roasted it in the oven and would like to try it on the grill in the spring/summer. I will definately be buying it again.

I am not sure I would ever buy this again. I felt it was way to fatty through out the meat. It had a good taste...

Too tough.

Date:January 6, 2012
Pros: Easy Prep
Cons: Poor Texture, Over Seasoned, Excess Fat, tough
Very garlicky both in taste and aroma. Smelled almost like sausage when roasting. Roasted it to medium. It looked really good, but was extremely tough. No one would eat it. Had to throw the entire roast out. The only thing good I have to say about it was that it was easy to make.

Excellent!

Date:October 28, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
I have ordered this roast every month and my family loves it. It is always very falvorful and tender. Recently I put this roast in the crock pot with a can of cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 jar of beef mushroom gravy, a packet of lipton beefy onion soup mix and some worchershire sauce. This made the most delicious roast and wonderful gravy on top of mashed potatoes!!

Proud to serve this meat

Date:May 24, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, High Quality
Cooked this for a family mid-day meal. Turned out great. Even my grandsons (6&2) ate it up. They are pretty fussy. Everyone at the table thought it was very tasty. Will try to grill it next time.

From a vegans point of view...

Date:April 14, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture
I am a vegan. The rest of my family of ten are good ol' American carnivores. I love this roast becasue it is easy and fool proof. Always comes out good enough that even the picky kids eat it. My husband demands left overs so he can brag at work the next day. Drippings make a fine gravy. It is aged beef, which, if you price it out on the market, is very expensive, which makes this a real value.

The taste was excellent. The portions were perfect. The only downside was excess gristle in almost every bite. Otherwise ~ perfect!

As good as the Steakhouse!

Date:March 2, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
I have orderd this a couple of times now. Its excellent. I put it up there with a good steak you would get from your favorite steak house...but with this steak you can afford to feed the whole family. EXCELLENT FLAVOR! Get some of the market day baby potatoes and broccoli florets and dinner is done in a half hour!

Makes great sandwiches

Date:March 2, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Kid-Friendly
This will be the 3rd time I've ordered this. Although it took longer to cook (for desired internal temp.) than I remembered, it turned out great. What meat we did have left over, I used for over-the-top roast beef sandwiches the following days!

Not great

Date:February 27, 2011
Cons: Poor Flavor, Over Seasoned
AFter LOVING the terriaki steak kabobs for several months, we decided to try another steak.
This is not a great steak at all.
It's overly seasoned, and tough too.

Family Favorite

Date:February 27, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, High Quality, Versatile
I was looking for a meal that would be easy, different and good and this got good ratings so I thought I would try it. It was a success with both the husband and kids (who tend to complain when eating beef, complaining it's tough). Everyone (including my 2 picking eaters) said that it was tasty and they actually ate their meal. We had about 1/2 the meat left and I sliced up the meat and made hoagies with peppers, onions and mushrooms for a quick weeknight dinner. The meat was tender, tasty and juicy. I wouldn't hesitate to serve this as an easy dinner for guests.
