Pros: Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Versatile
I started buying the diced chicken when I could no longer find the brand I liked in stores...and these are much better! I use the diced chicken for a variety of dishes, including chicken nachos, quesadillas, soup, and enchiladas. I leave the bag in the freezer then pour out what I need and defrost in the microwave for 30 seconds (or add the pieces frozen to a skillet dinner/casserole). Any recipe that calls for canned, shredded, or even freshly cooked diced chicken is a fantastic candidate for using the diced chicken tenderloins.

LOVE IT
Date:December 7, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
Bought this for my last order which was also my first this time I increased quanity to two bags. very easy to cook added seasoning greaton salads or taco
I thought these would be a great item to use in stir fries or pasta, but I ended up throwing away about 1/3 of the package because of all the gristle, fat, and just generally unidentifiable ickiness. My kids don't like surprises in their chicken, and neither do I. Good idea, poorly executed.
Love this product! Very versatile. I've made chicken quesadilla as a quick lunch and dinner; saved time by using this chicken for chicken cacciatore in a crock pot and chicken torilla soup. Great time saving product that I will continue to purchase.

poor quality chicken
Date:January 20, 2011
Pros: Easy Prep, Healthy, Versatile
Cons: excessive grizzle
I normally don't write reviews but I had to say something about the quality of this diced chicken. I've been buying this for years and loved cooking with it, but recently (my past four meals) the chicken has had so much grizzle in it that the thought of buying it again makes me sick to my stomach. One bite of a grizzly piece ruins the entire meal. My kids won't eat a meal if they know I used this chicken because they are afraid of biting into a "disgusting piece". I don't blame them either, my dinner has ended early because of finding bad pieces of chicken. Before cooking my last batch of chicken I decided to pick it apart to see how much grizzle I would find, and I was shocked my the amount of bad meat. If you are going to purchase this item I highly recommend that you spend some time picking the pieces of chicken apart before you start cooking with it (which kind of defeats the convenience aspect of the item.
Fast and versatile - easy to add to just about any recipe. Have no seasoning on them at all, so you have to add that if you want it.
My one complaint is that I occasionally find tough or grissly pieces mixed in, and if I don't find them before I put them into the dish, it makes for an unpleasant surprise.

Pros: Easy Prep, High Quality
Cons: too much sodium
I love this product but will not be able to buy it anymore unless the sodium content is reduced.
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
What a great, convenient item. When you're in a hurry or you've waited to the last minute you'll be glad to have it in your freezer. I get this a lot for everything from salads to casseroles. One reviewer said there was a lot of gristle in it but I haven't found that to be the case.
I would give these 5 stars if it were't for the less-than-stellar texture of some of these chicken pieces. They taste very good, but I have to go through the entire bag after I thaw them and cut out the gristly parts. Once I do that, I make chicken salad. But I almost quit buying these because I was having to cut out quite a bit from many pieces. I wish they would trim the chicken carefully before dicing it.
Pros: Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
I love these Diced Chicken tenderloins. They are an essential in our household. I don't have time to spend two hours cooking a big meal most nights. This product takes a thrown together meal and makes it great--and often in only _one_ pan. If you want good meat or protein with your food, this is a quick, tasty selection.
Ways that I use this:
•Cook pasta and drain; add a sauce to the pan (red, white, pesto, etc); toss in diced chicken; warm and stir; serve.
•Simmer diced chicken in a sauce (curry, tikka masala, teriyaki, cilantro/lime, butter sauce, etc); serve over rice with veggies.
•"Homemade" soup: chicken or turkey stock, chopped carrots, celery, onions brought to a boil, then lowered to simmer; add seasonings and diced chicken. Possible additions: rice, pasta, diced potatoes, diced red peppers, broccoli, okra, garlic gloves, cream or milk. Serve when warmed through. Top with dollop of sour cream and a wedge of avocado, or strips of tortilla that you've toasted.
[note: you can buy frozen, chopped onions at most grocery stores--another time saver!]
•Chicken salad
•Salad with chicken chunks; I esp. like to add some fresh herbs like cilantro or italian parsley
•Layer chicken tenderloins in a casserole. Add some seasoning (salt, pepper, butter, garlic, etc) Add a thin layer of onions, thicker layers of carrots, peas, etc. Top with mashed potato (ideally leftovers from an earlier meal!) and cheddar cheese sprinkles. Warm through in a hot oven (about 30 min).
•Saute chicken with a bit of butter, some minced shallots (you can substitute onions in a pinch) and some tarragon (ideally fresh but dried is okay). Once browned, serve chicken over rice. To really gussy it up, take a 1-2T of wine (white is best) to deglaze the pan of all the brown bits over med. heat. You can also use chicken stock or a bit of water, but it won't taste quite as good. Use a wooden spoon to scrape the sides. Let the alcohol evaporate a bit, then add about 1/2 cup of sour cream or plain yogurt. Stir until it melts. Drizzle sauce over chicken and rice.
My kids love all these options. And honestly, if you change the colors and flavors, it isn't boring. We probably eat these 1-2 times a week. I can't imagine not having this around when I cook.
These taste great. I take them in my lunch to add to my salads. Quick and easy to fix in the microwave. Have also cooked them in the skillet and made fried rice dishes.
These chicken bites seemed like a great idea and I was eager to use them in my favorite casserole. However, the texture was sooo wrong I ended up throwing them all away; even the ones that were still frozen.
Many bites were fatty or gristly, yuck, yuck, yuck!
Pros: Indulgent, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
Cons: expensive
We have chicken salad for dinner about once a week. It is so easy to grab the diced chicken, put it in a pan to heat up; add buffalo sauce or Italian seasoning to the chicken while it heats. and just add it to the salad... I even take a handful of them and heat them up for the baby to eat for lunch. They are soft and easy for her to chew. She loves them. The only bad thing is that they rarely go on special. I talk about about their versatility to my friends and now I have a lot of my friends ordering them now too.

Great addition
Date:August 9, 2010
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Healthy, Good Texture, Versatile
I like to use this chicken with vegetable fried rice #7763. There is no prep involved. Just open the bag and add to the skillet. I also add fresh bean sprouts.
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
I do agree with the review that stated the product can be watery upon thawing. The reason I'm giving the product 5-stars is we learned to thaw them and then literally dry them with a paper towel, then they're great. We like to use them for sandwiches mostly. Since almost all of the reviews so far reference using them for cooking in hot meals, the excess moisture wouldn't be noticed then, in my opinion. The reviews have given me more options (cooking) so thanks. The flavor is good and you can't beat it for low-calorie content! Sometimes I chop it in the food processor and make a kind of sandwich spread out of it and have a lot of fun adding all kinds of ingredients!

A MUST HAVE!
Date:July 21, 2010
Pros: Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy
This is one of my favorite market day items. I use it for casseroles, pizza's, chicken taco's, anything that I want to throw cooked chicken in. I don't have to worry about cooking a chicken breast and chopping it up to put it in my dishes.. this is the easiest and I always want it on hand!
I found these to be too moist when thawed. Almost had a watery texture. I haven't tried them again since the first purchase, but maybe I did not thaw properly. Reviews here are good, I may have to try again.
Pros: Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, Good Texture, Versatile
Easy to use and great for making soups, salads, stir fry, and casseroles. Comes in convenient pouches so you only need to take out the amount you need.
Pros: Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
Diced chicken tenderloins are the most versitle ingredient in my freezer. I use them to make a quick chicken soup in winter. I add to casseroles and salads -- great time savers. Love the high quality.
