No mess!

Date:September 28, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture
I love these awesome little oatmeal parfaits, and I figured out how to cook them without a mess: I thaw them in the fridge , then I poke holes in the lid and nuke them for 1 minute on high. The oatmeal and fruit are perfectly warm, and no clean up!

Too Messy for Travel!

Date:September 19, 2011
Pros: Flavorful
Cons: messy, too many seeds, does not travel well, scalding sauce
I bought these hoping I could take them to work for a quick and easy meal! I never have time for breakfast and wanted something other than my typical pop tart. WRONG! They explode all over the microwave! The berries get too hot and the oatmeal still has frozen chunks. I followed the directions on the box exactly. Then I tried them again at home knowing the work microwave is quite "intense." Same problem again - only this time I was smart enough to put it on a bigger plate with a paper towel on top. My microwave was a gooey mess and the oatmeal and berries weren't that great for all the clean up!
You'd be better off just to buy regular instant oatmeal and bring some flavor jam with you! I would not recommend this product.

Response from Market Day:By Market DayCustomer Service September 20, 2011
We apologize for the difficult experience some reviewers have had with our Oatmeal with Mixed Berries product. For best results; thaw cup. To prepare, once thawed, peel back cover to vent and microwave for
60 seconds. Stir thoroughly and let stand for one minute to cool and thicken. Enjoy.

Quick & filling

Date:May 12, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Healthy, Good Texture
Cons: too many seeds
After I figured out how to make the oatmeal without ending up with a messy microwave it has been my favorite Go-To breakfast. The oatmeal is sweet but not too sweet, the texture is creamy, and the small cup is pretty filling!! My only con would be the seeds.

Tasty but can be messy

Date:April 18, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Kid-Friendly
These have good flavor and are a nice quick breakfast. I have had mess and uneven heating issues in the microwave, but I always prepare them from frozen. I bet thawing them first would alleviate that. Bonus- my 19 month old loves them for breakfast.....

Great Breakfast, Quick Snack

Date:April 15, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, Good Texture, Versatile
Cons: does not microwave well
I really liked the Oatmeal and berry mix. I thought it tasted very good and just the right amount of sweetness. My family enjoyed it very much. It does not microwave well. You must use plate under neath cup because no matter what the berries and juice will over flow.

Delicious berry flavor...tastes fresh!

Date:April 10, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Healthy, High Quality
I love these!!! Those complaining about the mess could've saved trouble by just placing the container inside a bowl or a small Tupperware container!!! The berries in this oatmeal are WONDERFUL....I especially love the raspberries. After heating, I transfer it to the Tupperware, stir, and cover, taking it with me to go in the car to work. The best part is, this keeps me feeling full until lunch time...it's very filling!

So Messy!

Date:March 26, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Healthy, Good Texture
Cons: hard to prepare
I tried fixing it the way the box says, and I tried fixing it by thawing in the fridge first. Still had to clean up the microwave. At least when I thawed it, it didn't explode all over the microwave. It has a good taste, but I don't enjoy taking time out of my busy morning to clean up the mess.

disappointed

Date:March 23, 2012
Cons: Poor Texture, Poor Flavor
besides the messy prep I did not like the texture or flavor of this oatmeal at all. I rarely throw out food even if I don't like it but I did with this product.

A Good, Fast Breakfast

Date:March 14, 2012
Pros: Easy Prep
I bring these to work for my breakfast, and it is a nice change of pace. The fruit tastes very fresh, and it's just enough to fill you up. I probably would have rated it higher but they make such a mess in the microwave. After visiting the website, I now have the new heating instructions, which I will try.

Great for Work

Date:March 2, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Good Texture
I bought these before they changed the cooking instructions and yes, they were a pain and messy. But with the new instructions I keep them in the refrigerator and grab one each morning for my lunch bag. When I get to work I dump it into a paper cup, cover with a damp paper towel and microwave for 1 min and 20 seconds...no splatter or mess. I stir and enjoy...no clean up. My only complaint is that there is too much fruit for the amount of oatmeal.

Disappointed

Date:February 21, 2012
Pros: Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy
Cons: Poor Texture, too sweet
I am a big fan of instant oatmeal so I thought I would love this product. Wrong!!! It is way too sweet and the texture is more like pudding or custard than oatmeal. I will not buy this product again and would not recomend it.

Disappointing

Date:February 11, 2012
Pros: Easy Prep, Healthy
I am all for healthy and we have many Market Day favorites but this was a real disappointment. The bulk of our order is still in the freezer and I don't think we (I) will eat it. After thawing, the texture was unpleasant and it just was mushy and unappealing.

Messy and not very good!

Date:February 7, 2012
Cons: Bland
Like many reviews I am reading, I thawed these in the refridgerator and followed the directions. The cups exploded all over the microwave. When they did cool enough to eat, they were not good at all. Will not buy again!

Delicous Easy

Date:February 7, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture
I take a frozen cup to work. By the time I get there I can nuke it and everyone hangs around my cube asking if it's good! It's delicious. I'm bringing a bunch to work for co-workers.

Too Sweet

Date:February 6, 2012
Pros: Easy Prep
Cons: Over Seasoned, too sweet
I found this to be too sweet and berry tasting. You could not taste the oatmeal at all. It was too much like a dessert.
