Easy Healthy Breakfast
Date:January 3, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Healthy
I thought these were great waffles so did my two children 7 and 4. As mentioned in another review the toaster made the center cold while the edges ended up burnt. However, the directions clearly state the microwave or oven, does not mention a toaster so I did the microwave. They have a mild vanilla flavor and my kids like to dip them in light syrup.
I just love these waffle sticks. They are a nice change from my regular yogurt and Multi-grain english muffin breakfast. I microwave them and dip them in a small amount of light syrup. Only 4 WW Points Plus
My boys really love these. Nice change from mini chip pancakes every morning!

Good, Quick Breakfast
Date:March 31, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy
Cons: a bit dry
My kids love waffles and pancakes, so I was happy to try a new option for weekday breakfast. Love the whole grain, and the flavor. My older son prefers a bit of syrup, but we use the lite to keep the sugar more reasonable. We also sometimes dip in whipped cream rather than syrup, which gives a hint of sweetness with fewer grams of sugar. I originally baked in the oven, but found that my toaster worked just fine. I have a "frozen toast" option, so I did not have the problem of burnt outside and cold insides. A bit dry if you are planning to eat them plain, but good dipped in something.
I was dissapointed the first time and there after on how difficult it was to heat the middle of the waffle in the toaster. I have a new toaster and the waffle would burn if I heated the whole waffle throughout. I had to microwave it and toast it which changed the consistancy of the texture. It also took more time in the morning which I am trying to avoid. My children did not go crazy over them, in fact they enjoyed their store bought waffle better. The picture and advertisment about the product looked incredible, so I thought we all would love them. I was so surprised when we tried them. I want something easy in the moning to cook and something the children would enjoy eating. This was not the case at all.

Great Healthier Option!
Date:March 7, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy
My kids love these! I like them because they get waffles but with whole grain AND they eat them without sugary syrup!
I love these for me, but my kids think they're too dry. I can eat these for 3 Weight Watchers points. I add some spray butter & a little lite syrup to moisten them up and they are great! Whole grain yum!!

My Kids Love These!
Date:March 1, 2011
Pros: Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy
I purchased these because there are so few quick breakfasts that have decent fiber content. I like the whole grain, and my kids think these are fantastic. My son, unfortunately, adds maple syrup, increasing the sugar count, but my daughter likes them plain. We fix them as directed in the package, in the microwave. I hope the plastic is safe!
Thought these would be a wonderful, quick school day breakfast....I thought wrong! As others have said, the waffle sticks were dry and didn't have much flavor. You also had to be very careful not to overheat them because they harden in an instant - they also hardened if you didn't eat them fast enough. YUCK from eveyone in my family!

Won't eat
Date:February 21, 2011
Cons: Bland
These are dry and taste nasty. My kids won't eat them..niether will I. Not a good choice.
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Healthy, Good Texture
I think these are great. They are a nice change from the traditional waffle, maybe that is why some of the children are not liking them. I didn't find them dry but I always use syrup with a little bit of butter so perhaps thats why.

Kids won't eat them
Date:February 1, 2011
Pros: Easy Prep
Cons: Bland, dry
My husband and I thought our kids were nuts not wanting to eat these so we tried them. Very dry and not much flavor, so I won't make the kids eat them anymore.

Too Dry
Date:January 20, 2011
Cons: Poor Texture
These waffle sticks seem very dry once heated up. They are also too sweet. My 5 year old won't eat them and I am not a big fan either.
These are not good - mushy even when toasted and bland tasting. We eat other whole wheat products, but no one liked these - they were just bad all around.
These are the best! I had them microwaved and I put them in the toaster oven. They are quick and easy for a family on the go. They have just enough sweetness that syrup is not needed! I buy them every month!
My kids love waffles, french toast sticks, pancakes, etc and are good about eating whole wheat products. These were pretty disappointing. They were too soft and chewy. I even tried toasting them to give them a little crisp but it didn't work too well since they're so thick.
I tried these out as they seemed like a reasonably friendly Weight Watcher option for me. They're Weight Watcher Points per waffle and with just a little drizzle of sugar free syrup and some fresh fruit (blueberries, mangoes, etc.) on top, they're a fantastic and indulgent breakfast.
When you cook them, they are not very moist, so I recommend either lots of syrup or some syrup and fresh fruit (like mangoes). I wasn't sure if my kids would like them, but it turns out they do.
They're super quick to make and keep you full for a long time.
...but they weren't. Our kids love the whole-grain pancakes I make from scratch on weekends, so I thought this would be a good weekday option. I thought they tasted pretty good for premade waffles, so don't hesitate to at least try them.
