Disappointed :(
Date:April 13, 2012
Pros: Flavorful
I was SO excited to try this. The flavor is amazing when you taste it from the shaker. But when I put it on meat, it disappeared. Literally. As soon as the meat begins to release juices, it runs off. I've also tried mixing it with low fat mayo to coat fish with, and then pressed the filets in panko and baked them. Same thing happened. I encrust fish with panko all the time, using mayo or dijon to help it adhere, and it always does. I have also tried sprinkling on my meat after grilling to be able to enjoy the flavor. I had to use a ton just to be able to taste it. Very sad, because it does taste great, but you can only taste it straight out of the container. Perhaps the formula could be recreated to help it bind better?
This is a tasty change up from the usual honey mustard fare. It has some heat to it if you layer it on during cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Love it!
Date:January 27, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Versatile
I love the flavor of mustard and had to try this. I never use it as a "rub" because we are vegetarians, but I use it as a spice in gravy (the veggie kind), soups, fish, even vegetarian chili.
