Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality, Good Texture
These are sooo yummy and chocolatey. It's great they are individually wrapped and can be stored in the freezer and eaten one at a time. I put them in my kids' lunches as a special treat--they are big enough to share with a friend. The chocolate chips inside melt just enough to add flavor and the cake is really moist.
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
I love these and hide them from the kids and hubby...they are so good, even eaten frozen! I'm not typically a store-bought cake kinda person, but we get 2 boxes every month. They remind me of the SaraLee Chocolate pound cake that was around when I was a kid.
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality, Good Texture
These rich, chocolately slices are a perfect dessert on their own, or paired with ice cream or fruit. My kids love to pile one with sliced strawberries and a big spritz of Reddi Whip!
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Good Texture, Versatile
My husband and daughter adore these little cakes. I swear my husband could write a cookbook with these as the main subject since he has prepared them in so many ways.
They are moist with little sweet chocolate chips throughout. Not too sweet though! They are good, but I think the chocolate tastes a bit "fake".
What they miss in the chocolate department the make up with their versatility! You can use these little cakes (each slice is packaged separately) in soooooo many ways! Just to name a few - eat them straight out of the package; create a sundae with ice cream and fudge; warm them up in the microwave and top with ice cream for a melty treat; add it to a blender with ice cream for a sweet mixer; throw strawberries, bananas, and some whip cream on top for a 'healthy' option
Like I said 101 ways to eat chocolate cake! Enjoy!

great dessert/treat!
Date:May 4, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
Easy go-to dessert or treat. If you like Frisch's Big Boy Restaurant's Hot Fudge Cake, you can make your own with this cake-just add vanilla ice cream, hot fudge sauce, whipped cream and a cherry!
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Good Texture
Tastes great, and super convenient to keep on hand because they are individually wrapped. We gave these to a classroom at school for a reward that they won, and they actually wrote individual thank you letters, all raving about the cakes!

Delicious!!!!!!
Date:April 5, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
I bought these for the first time in February, and was absolutely WOWED!!!! I have them on order for April and cannot wait! Would recommend to anyone for a snack, dessert or just a special treat. They are moist and I ate them directly from the freezer. I could not imagine them tasting any better. Keep up the good work!
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
My whole family loves these! Warmed or frozen...the kids will even eat them right out of the freezer! They are tasty as an individual treat, or even better topped with ice cream.
I love chocolate and these were really good - not too chocolately and not too rich - yet great to get your chocolate fix.

Warm them & Top with Whipped Topping
Date:February 25, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly
Nuke these for 10 seconds, top with whip cream and deliver them to your guests and tell them they are homemade.
These are delicious. And the serving size is significant. Easy to 1/2 if you are watching your sugar intake.

still as good!
Date:February 13, 2011
Pros: Flavorful
I remember when my mom use to order them when I was younger and they still are great! I typically eat them straight from the freezer or pop them in the microwave for 30 seconds and put ice cream on top.

VERY VERY YUMMY-addicting
Date:February 10, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, High Quality, Good Texture
Cons: small
These are the only sweets I ever crave! But one question.... did they get smaller? I remember them being double in size. So now I have to eat 2 to get my fix!
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality, Good Texture
My daughter loved this, warmed in the microwave with ice cream on top. Very rich, me and my daughter split up each one 1/2 and 1/2...chocolate lovers dream!!
These are excellent! My husband is not a big dessert fan, but he really likes these. I don't buy as often as I would like because they would disappear fast and my family would be bigger than our house. : )

Dry
Date:January 24, 2011
Pros: Kid-Friendly
Cons: Poor Texture, Poor Flavor, dry
They use to be called Pudding Cakes many years ago. People writing the other reviews must not have been ordering as long to remember. This version was a major disappointment! They were dry, had a burnt flavor, and the ends were included, that never happened with the Pudding Cakes. Won't be buying or recommending this item!

What happened to the chocolate chip pudding cakes
Date:January 9, 2011
Cons: Poor Texture
I have bought these for years for Market Day. Could always cound on a really good product. I always have these in my freezer, but the have changed in the past few months. Not as moist, not as big, smaller chocolate chips. Much lower quality all around. I will not be buying the new product, not worth the price any longer. :0(
