Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Good Texture
This are a very tasty snack, lunch, or dinner! Some reviews say the pretzel part is chewy or hard, when I cooked these the pretzel was soft and the hot dog tender. Kids love these!
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Good Texture
These are yum, yummy!! Made a great dinner with french fries. I did them in the oven and came out nice and crisp. Will be buying more wished there were more in a pack though.
While the concept behind them is good and the hot dogs taste fine, it's very hard to eat. The bread is not just crunchy, it's inedible. My 5 year old and I hated these and I didn't even try to give them to my 2 year old. VERY unhappy.
I bought these for my 5 yr old and figured the older kids would like them too. The taste is pretty good but I have a problem with the texture. The bagel tends to get hard in the microwave and the hot dog shrinks up. I have tried cooking them for less than the recomended time and that didn't work out either. And then I worried about underrcooked meat... I think these are a good idea, but just don't seem to cook properly in the microwave. I think I'll stick with doing these myself at home rather than spend this much on a so-so product.

Love these for a quick snack or meal. Noticed some of the other reviews said the dough was too chewy...it's a bagel, they're supposed to be chewy.

Bagel Dogs
Date:November 1, 2011
Cons: Poor Texture, Poor Flavor, hard
Was very disappointed. Cooked in the oven the dough of the bagel was extremely hard. My 1 and 2 1/2 yr old couldn't eat them. Tried in the microwave and the same thing. Hotdogs were rubbery as well.
The bread used on these is not good. Very crusty and hard, and the dog doesn't really stay in the wrapper, especially once they cool a little. Right out of the oven not bad, but once they cool they just aren't good.
Made some for my kids and they didn't want them, so I gave them a try. I don't even care for hotdogs that much and I thought they were pretty good. I cooked them in the microwave for 45 seconds and they turned out alright. Worth a shot.
We used to love the regular Market Day "bagel dogs" and bought these to see if the kids would like them. They do not compare. The hot dog are so small they disappear into the dough and when microwaved, the dough seems to shrivel up.
They didn't taste anywhere as good as the original either, my kids won't eat them.
These do much better in the toaster oven than the microwave, and you have to be careful not to overcook them because the bagel can get too hard easily. But, if cooked properly, they aren't hard at all. My kids are teen agers, so they had no problems eating them. We liked the flavor, but I can see how small children or picky eaters might not as the dog is a bit "processed" unlike regular hotdogs.
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality, Good Texture
These make excellent treats for little fingers. 4 of these and some fresh baby carrots and my son had a great lunch. The flavor and texture is very good.

We love these

I am suprised by all of the bad reviews, we have been getting these nearly every market day order for 2 years and our whole family loves these. I always make them in the microwave and as long as I don't over-cook them, I have not had a problem with them being too hard. We love them dipped in mustard.
