Best Frozen Corn

Date:December 5, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture
This frozen corn is the best I have tasted. It is so sweet and flavorful. Even when I have boiled it a bit too long, it somehow retains its great taste and texture.

Tasty Corn!

Date:December 7, 2010
Pros: Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality
I tried this for the first time for our recent Thanksgiving meal. I had more than one guest ask me what kind of corn it was. It was so fresh and delicious. I will definitely buy again.

FRIED CORN!!

Date:December 7, 2010
Love fresh fried corn, so thought I would try it with M.D. corn. The kernels are a little bigger, but the taste is great! I put a pat of margerine per serving in a medium heated iron skillet. When that is melted, add the frozen corn. Stir as needed. Cook 5-7 minutes over medium heat. If your pan gets too hot, lower temp. After cooking 5-7 min, add enough milk to barely cover the bottom of the pan, (not too much), then stir for another minute to bring corn back up to temp. The milk will be absorbed into the corn. Serve immediately. Kids love this, too!

Great corn!

Date:January 12, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture
I was surprised at how SWEET this corn tasted. I was expecting the usual bag of frozen corn...NOT! I ordered so I could serve it with Christmas eve dinner. It is the best frozen corn I have had by far.

Sweet and tender corn

Date:January 8, 2012
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
Corn is one of the few veggies my son will eat. He really liked this. It is very sweet and tastes very fresh. Easy to prepare. It also makes a very good "mexi-corn" by adding salsa.

Always Delicious

Date:September 30, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
Cons: not organic
Consistent quality, better than any corn from the grocery store--the only downside is that it's not organic. That being said, corn being protected by the husk is one of the veggies that can be ok to eat non-organic. I order this product consistently.

Fresh taste for many uses

Date:July 27, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
My family loves this corn. We use it in all types of ways: Soups, chili, casseroles, and plain.
I sometimes substitute lime juice for the water when I microwave the corn. When it's heated, I sprinkle some parmigiano, red pepper powder, and a little more lime juice. Stir in a tablespoon of mayo, and I call it elotes (based loosely on the on the cob treat sold by street vendors in Chicago's Mexican neighborhoods in the summer.
Or I'll put a cup of thawed corn into a batch of pancake batter for a twist on traditional corn pone.

Not What I Expected

Date:May 24, 2011
Pros: Healthy
Cons: Bland
So many people raved about this corn, so I ordered some. Sadly, I was disappointed. It seemed bland and tasteless to me. I don't think it was any better than frozen corn from the store.

Delicious, fresh corn

Date:May 23, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Indulgent, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
Large kernels are very flavorful. I prefer this to the mess of corn on the cob. Add a little butter or similar spread and it is perfect. Sometimes we even skip the butter and just enjoy the corn's natural sweetness. Great value too.

Tastes Fresh

Date:May 21, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, High Quality, Good Texture, Versatile
This delicious corn tastes like it's fresh off the cob, not frozen. I serve it as a side dish, toss it in salads and soups, and give it to my toddler frozen as a snack

Kernals larger than you expect

Date:May 20, 2011
Pros: Flavorful, Easy Prep, Kid-Friendly, Healthy, Versatile
Good corn and surprising sweet. No butter needed. The only issue was that the kernals were larger and some were dark yellow, others lighter in color. I guess I expected smaller kernals and a light color. Not sure if we'll get again. Resealable bag so you can use as much or little as you need.
